- Teachnet.com- Includes lesson plan ideas in all subject areas including health, social studies and art. Also has a "power tools" section that includes information on portfolios as well as classroom management and organization and record keeping.
- Fun Brain- Educational games for all age groups in every subject.
- Discovery SchoolHas three sections: parents, students and teachers. Each one of these sections has a plethora of wonderful resources. The teacher section includes lesson plans, clip art and other teaching tools such as worksheets and puzzles. If you have never seen this site, do so immediately- it is excellent! -
- Kathy Schrock’s Guide for Educators-This site can be accessed from and is part of the Discovery School site. It is listed separately here, because it has so much information that it really should stand alone. There are links to resources in categories ranging from agricultural studies to government to special education. She also has a great deal of "teacher’s helpers" including rubrics, evaluations tools and bulletin board ideas.
- WebQuestFor those of you who have never heard of a Web Quest- you are in for a pleasant surprise. Take a look at this site for an explanation of Web Quests as well as an enormous amount of examples for Web Quests in every subject for every grade level- from preK- college levels. -
- Lesson Plans PageThis site not only has a comprehensive list of lesson plans in many subject areas, but also includes math worksheets, a discussion forum, and articles on "inspired teachers". -
