NASA- Jet Propulsion Laboratory- Offers much information on the earth, the solar system, stars and galaxies, space technology and much, much more. There is also a search option that will help you to find what you need more quickly. - Informational and interactive site with tons of interesting information about endangered species, forests, Oceans and toxic chemicals. The site also provides information on how you can help to save the planet.

World Wildlife Fund - For more than 45 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. The largest multinational conservation organization in the world, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally.

The Virtual Body - Cool interactive site with information on all parts of the human body. The site will even let you put together your own skeleton!

How Stuff Works - Detailed, illustrated descriptions of how stuff works in areas such as automotive, body and health, computers, entertainment, toys and games, money, weapons, and transportation.

Federal Emergency Management Agency- Earthquakes- Site contains information about the cause of earthquakes, a map of earthquake risk states, as well as picture of damage from earthquakes and how to protect yourself should you experience an earthquake.

Volcano World - Put together by the University of North Dakota, the site has everything you need to know about volcanoes, including a list of volcano facts, types of volcanoes and recent eruptions. Also lists instructions on how to build various model volcanoes.

Dinobase – This page is perfect for any Dinosaur lover. It provides information on every aspect of the dinosaur, from their beginnings to their lives, to their tragic extinction.

Rainforestweb.org- Rainforestweb.org was created as a tool for concerned citizens, companies and institutions to conveniently access the most complete and current information about rainforests, through one umbrella site. Created by Rainforest Action Network and designed by Blue Mandala, Rainforestweb.org offers a comprehensive and informative view of the state of our world's rainforests through diverse postings and links.

Rainforest Education - This site has all sorts of information on the Rainforest, including vegetation and wildlife, threats to the rainforest, how you can help, teacher resources, and lots of beautiful pictures.

Animal Diversity Web - Animal Diversity Web (ADW) is an online database of animal natural history, distribution, classification, and conservation biology at the University of Michigan. Animal Diversity Web has thousands of species accounts about individual animal species. These may include text, pictures of living animals, photographs and movies of specimens, and/or recordings of sounds. Students write the text of these accounts and we cannot guarantee their accuracy; and Descriptions of levels of organization above the species level, especially phyla, classes, and in some cases, orders and families. Hundreds of hyperlinked pages and images illustrate the traits and general biology of these groups. Professional biologists prepare this part.
