Memo to: JFK Parents/Guardians

Subject: Level 1 Lockdown Drill
I am writing to let you know that JFK Middle School held a Level 1 Lockdown drill this morning. Two police dogs and their handlers were in the building this morning from approximately 8:45 until 9:15 and entered several wings. As you know, it is routine for us to have these types of drills from time to time during the year. This Lockdown drill created minimum disruption; and students were in their classrooms at all times and lessons went on as planned.
