Subject: Lockdown
Date: January 13, 2010
I am writing to inform you that JFK Middle School went into lockdown today for about 15 minutes due to a medical emergency. A staff member had to be transported out of the building by stretcher to an awaiting ambulance. We did not want students passing in the halls during this disruptive event so the decision was made to keep the halls clear. At no time were students in any danger and we resumed our routine schedule in a timely manner.
