Hello My Name Is...
Charlene Lauria
I am a Computer Technology Teacher at JFK, primarily in charge of the Grade Seven and Eight Directed Curriculum Classes. These include keyboarding and podcasting in seventh grade and our interdisciplinary unit, "Writing Along the Oregon Trail" with the eighth graders. In addition, I also work on enhancement projects with teachers in many subject areas.
At JFK, I am one of the advisors for the Community Service Club which annually achieves its motto, "Making a Difference in the Lives of Others". In addition, I am a co-captain of Jane's Team, JFK's American Cancer Society's relay for Life Team. Every June, our team of students, staff member and parents participates in the 24-hour Relay Walk at Suffield Middle School, raising funds for the fight against all cancers.
I can be reached at my JFK Voicemail Box 760-6979.
